Method:
The Brown R base (= [128-89-2]) is added to the mixture of sulphuric acid and oleum over 7-8 hours below 300C. Stirred till dissolved. Blown to 7 cu. metre water in which is dissolved 45 kg. sodium chlorate. Temperature rises to 60-650C. Add further 45 kg sodium chlorate, heat with direct steam to 90-950C. Maintain 4 hours. Dilute to 21 cu. metre, filtered and washed.
Yield = 4129 kg. paste at standard strength.

In a 4000 liter steel kettle are placed 2700 kilograms sulfuric acid, 96%, and 900 kilograms oleum, 20%. With water cooling, in the course of the night, are added 675 kilograms of Indanthrene Brown R Base (= [12-89-2]) Ground, the temperature not being allowed to exceed 300.
The finished melt is then blown into a tub in which have been placed 45 kilograms sodium chlorate dissolved in 7 cubic meters of water. The length of time of blowing over is one to one and one-half hours. The final temperature reaches 60-650 and then 45 kilograms more sodium chlorate are added, heated with direct steam to 90-950 (by this is obtained acid of about 32%), the temperature being held for 4 hours.
Following this the tank is filled with water to about 21 cubic meters by which the temperature falls to 50-550. The contents of the tub are then sucked, in three parts, to a Montejus and is filtered off into three filter presses. The product is then washed with cold water to neutrality.

合成方法： 将675公斤色基溶于2700公斤浓硫酸及900公斤20%的发烟硫酸中，温度300C，在2小时内稀释到水中，加45公斤氯化钠，加热至900C, 反应4小时。降温至500C, 过滤，水洗，经过特定的颜料化处理得颜料棕28 （己胺BIOS1493，p. 10,12） 《有机颜料化学及工艺学》相同，但未说明资料来源。

因为我未抄录德文原件，所以不能评述英文资料，其中FIAT比较详细。对照德文题目和英文译文，中文把氯酸钠(Sodium chlorate), 写成氯化钠是不应该出现的差错，而且四本书都一样有错！一些小问题不在这里说了。
按工艺，闭环得到产品是一种隐色体，有的容易氧化。有的不太容易氧化，需要加入氯酸钠作为氧化剂。氯化钠重复出现是否编者另有见解，那么氯化钠在这里起什么作用？
有错不怕，改过来就可以，问题是重复出现。当然写书比我不写书好多了，本人的化学文库只是把过去抄录的资料拿出来，供大家参考。也一定会有错，请大家指正。
