460 kg. para rosaniline, 2450 kg. aniline and 8.5 kg.
benzoic acid are heated at 180-182℃. for 11/2 hrs. till the correct shade is obtained
(test in acetic acid – spirit mixture in artfical light v. std.), cooled to 140℃. and the excess aniline distilled off
under vacuum. The viscous product is
dropped into iron tanks, dug out after solidifying and ground.

天津染料生产工艺汇编。1980年。 P. 114-116. 酸性墨水蓝。抄录如下。
缩合: 先将苯胺（工业）660公斤，吸入1000升搪瓷锅内，60℃加入100% 付品红贝司140公斤，及苯甲酸99% 4.2公斤后，用4小时左右升温至175℃，并保温反应3小时左右，即可到达终点。
然后倒入减压锅内，进行减压蒸馏，回收苯胺420公斤再将物料放入冷却盘内粉碎，得苯胺量280公斤左右。
