用途：酸性黄25, 48.  酸性橙19, 41. 酸性红118， 医药。 LookChem网登录生产与经营单位60家。  反应类别：氯磺化。

BIOS 1153, 42-43. （=胶卷PB 85687）。 4-Nitrotoluene-2-sulphonic chloride. (Leverkusen). 英国人摘译自德文（无资料来源）。

Outline: p-Nitrotoluene (C.P. 50-52℃.) is heated with 3.9 mol. of chlorosulphonic acid and the sulphonyl chloride precipitated by drowning in ice and water.

Plant:  1  Cast iron pan 2,700 l. with gate agitator, gas heating and coil for water cooling.  Still is connected to absorption apparatus for hudrochloric acid given off during reaction

       1  Vat, brick-lined, 12,000 l. with blade agitator.

       1  Brick-lined nutsche.

       1  8,000 l. cast iron measure vessel for chlorosulphonic acid.

Materials:  1400 kg. Chlorosulphonic qcid.      420 kg.  p-Nitrotoluene = 213 kg. nitrite.        4-5 tones Ice.

Process:

    1400 kg. of chlorosulphonic acid are measured into the sulphonatiing pan.  420 kg. of p-nitrotoluene are charged with agitation and heated to 45℃. to

effect solution.  The temperature is then controlled by coil cooling.  After 1 hour it is heated carefully to 70℃., the temperature then rising to 80-82℃.

without further heating.  When the temperature begins to fall, it is heated slowly to 98-103℃. and held 2 hours at this temperature.  It is then cooled by

coil to 20℃., the agitator stopped and the batch left until the following morning.  The sulohonation is run into the agitated vat (C.I. brick-lined) containing

1000 l. water and 4 tones of ice, agitated for 40 min. (temperature 15℃.) and filtered on the nutsche and washed acid-free with cold water.

    Yield: 75% theory.      The product is required for p-toluidine-2-sulphonanilide (page 119).

    在2750 L铸铁锅中加入1400 kg 氯磺酸，在搅拌下加入420 kg凝固点为50-52℃的对硝基甲苯，同时加热到45℃以加强溶解，反应开始后用冷

却蛇管控制温度。1小时后仔细加热到70℃，在没有加热下温度又升至80-82℃。当温度开始下降时，缓缓加热至98-103℃，在此温度保持2小时，

然后用蛇管冷却到20℃，停止搅拌放置过夜。

    磺化物流入10000 L铸铁衬砖锅中，其中放有1000 L水和·4吨冰，搅拌40分钟，温度15℃，抽滤，冷水洗至不含酸。产品得率为75%。

    产品用于对甲苯胺-3-磺酰苯胺。
