1 – 50 l. completely lead lined agitated autoclave.   1 – ceramic stone nutsch.

Charge: 投料量：

3257 g 2,3-dioxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid potassium salt.。  6 kg sulfuric acid 660Be’.。

50-70 g purifying charcoal.。  sodiumacetate.

Process: 操作步骤：

3257 g 2,3-dioxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid potassium salt, 25 l. of water and 6 kg of sulfuric acid 660Be’ are heated in the autoclave for 15 hours at1170℃. Pressure 5 atmospheres.  The material is then stirred until cold and filtered on the nutsch; 50-70 kg of A-kohle (purifying carbon) is added and the material heated under agitation.  It is then filtered hot, the filtrate collected and stirred until cool.  The precipitated dioxy naphthalene is filtered off and washed with a dilute solution of sodium acetate to remove the Congo acidity.  Finally the nutsch is covered with 0.5 l. of water and sucked as dry as possible.  It is dried in a hot air oven at 40-50℃.  The material should have a freezing point of 168℃ and must give a clear solution when dissolved in ether.  Yield: Unavailable.

3257 kg 2,3-二羟基萘-6-磺酸钾，25 L水和6 kg 98% 硫酸在50 L带搅拌高压釜中于170℃加热15小时，压力为5巴。然后搅拌冷却，抽滤。滤饼与25-30 L水混合，加入50-70 kg 活性炭，在搅拌下加热。然后热过滤，收集滤液搅拌至冷，过滤出沉淀的2,3-二羟基萘，用醋酸钠稀溶液洗涤，以除去对刚果红为酸性的酸，滤饼加0.5 L水，尽可能抽滤至干，用热空气在40-50℃干燥。产品熔点168℃，溶于醚应为清晰溶液。
