Stirring vessel, 4.5 cu.m. homogeneously lead-lined, with cover and lead condenser (reducing vessel)。 Iron stirring vessel, 6 cu.m. (distilling receiver)。 Iron stirring vessel, 7 cu.m. with coil (condensation vessel)。 Homogeneous lead and tiled-lined stirring vessel with coil, 7 cu.m.。 Iron press, 600 x 900。 Two wooden presses, 800 x 800。
Condensation: 缩合:
The mercaptan and the water from the distillation are blown from the receiver into the condensation vessel, and dissolved in 380 kg. 33% caustic soda solution and while adding 300 kg. ice, condensed at 0-50 with 125 kg. chloroacetic acid. Heated to 950 and after adding 10 kg. decolourising carbon, filtered into the tile-lined stirring vessel by passing through the iron press. The press cake is washed with about 1 cu.m. of water at 700 from the condensation vessel. Cooled to 150 and 440 kg. hydrochloric acid added, whereby the “Blauthiosäure” is precipitated. After stirring for 10 hours, the acid is filtered on the two wooden presses, washed with about 1 cu.m. of water and dried at 800.

1. After finishing the distillation, a sample of the contents of the reducing vessel is steam distilled and the distillate mixed with lead acetate. No yellow lead salt of mercaptan should be given. 2. After finish of the condensation, a spot test on lead acetate paper shows the presence of non-condensed mercaptan by yellow colouration.
The “Blausulfochloride” should be used immediately after manufacture. The finished product should be clearly soluble in caustic soda solution. White crystals, m. p. 120-1300.
Yield: 1248 kg. 2,4-dichlorobenzene sulphonyl chloride. 749 kg. monochloroacetic acid. Give 1 ton product.

缩合:蒸馏出来的苯硫酚(2,4-二氯苯硫酚)和水压入7立方米铁制缩合锅(带搅拌和蛇管)中,溶解于380 kg 33% 氢氧化钠溶液,同时加入300 kg冰,在0-5℃与125 kg氯乙酸缩合。加热到95℃,加入10 kg 活性炭脱色。滤液经过压滤机流入7立方米衬铅的搅拌锅中,滤液用1000 L 70℃的水洗涤。滤液冷却到15℃,加入440 kg盐酸,沉淀出2,4-二氯苯基巯基乙酸。搅拌10小时后,在两个木制压滤机上过滤去酸,用1000 L水洗涤,在80℃干燥。
检测:(1)蒸馏完成后,在还原锅中取样,水蒸汽蒸馏。馏出物与醋酸铅混合,没有黄色的硫醇的铅盐。 (2)缩合完成后,在醋酸铅试纸上进行点滴试验,黄色说明有未缩合的硫醇存在。
2,4-二氯苯磺酰氯[16271-33-3](已上网)生产后,应直接使用。本缩合产品为白色结晶,溶于氢氧化钠溶液应清晰透明。熔点120-130℃。
生产1吨2,4-二氯苯基巯基乙酸,消耗1248 kg 2,4-二氯苯磺酰氯和749 kg 一氯醋酸。
