Process Description:
Into the condensation vessel (1) charge about 6,000 l. p-aminophenol solution equivalent to 310 kg. p-aminophenol M.W. 109, heat to boiling and with stirring add 150 kg. chalk or 185 kg. Leunakalk. From the measure vessel (2) run in 554 kg. dinitrochlorbenzene (= 388 l. at 60℃.) during about 1/2 hour. Hold the condensation at boiling-point with agitation for 4 hr. At the end of the condensation an excess of p-aminophenol must still be present.
Test: A sample is filtered, acidified and titrated with N/1 Sodium nitrite. Nitrite titre shall not excess to 10 c.c. per 600 c.c. sample. A deficiency of p-aminophenol produces ether formation giving an insoluble body in the liquor which can be immediately recognized by the test below. Blow the finished condensation to the two nutsches, suck off and wash with 8,000 l. of water to which has been added 100 kg. hydrochloric acid, finally wash neutral with water.
Yield: Approximately 1,000 kg. paste = 760 kg. M.W. 275 = 97% theory. Calculated on p-aminophenol = 99% theory calculated on dinitrochlorbenzene.
Analysis: Test (1). 30 g. of oxynitramin paste are heated on a boiling water batch for one hr. 400 cc. distilled water and 25 cc. cuatic soda 330Be’ are then added and the solution filtered through a folded filter paper. The filter is washed with hot distilled water until the washings are colourless. The filter is dried and the paper removed. There should be no residue on the paper and especially no yellow powder (oxynitramin ether).
Test (2). A sample of the paste is dried at 80℃. to constant weight. The dry content should be about 70-80%.

在12000 L铸铁缩合锅中加入约6000 L对氨基苯酚溶液,相当于310 kg对氨基苯酚,加热至沸,在搅拌下加入150 kg碳酸钙或185 kg Leunakalk,于约0.5小时内加入554 kg 二硝基氯苯(在60℃相当于388 L)。保持缩合物在沸点搅拌4小时。在缩合终点必须仍存在过量对氨基苯酚。
检验:取样过滤,酸化,并用1N亚硝酸钠溶液滴定,每600 ml样品消耗亚硝酸钠溶液应不超过10 ml。对氨基苯酚的不足之处是能产生醚,在液体中形成不溶物,这种不溶物在以后的检验中可以鉴别。
将缩合物抽滤,用800 L含100 kg盐酸的水洗涤,最后用水洗涤至中性。 得到约1000 kg膏状物,相当于760 kg产品,以对氨基苯酚计收率97%,以二硝基氯苯计收率99%。
检验:取30 g产品滤饼在水浴上加热1小时,然后加入400 ml蒸馏水和25 ml 27% 氢氧化钠溶液。过滤,用热蒸馏水洗涤至洗水为无色,干燥,在滤纸上应无残留物,特别是没有黄色Oxynitramin ether 粉末。2,4-二硝基-4’-羟基二苯胺又名Oxynitramin.
