Process as for m-chloroaniline hydrochloride (No. 28).

600 kg. 4-chloro-o-toluidine (No. 68) and 2500 l. 8% hydrochloric acid are heated to 70℃. and agitated for 2 hours to effect solution. 470 kg. hydrochloric acid 240Be’. Is then added and the whole cooled to 15-20℃. The hydrochloride is filtered off on a vacuum filter and then hydroextracted to reduce the water content and finally dried at 70-75℃.

Materials consumptions/tone 4-chloro-o-toluidine hydrochloride:  4-chloro-o-toluidine  C. 79 t.  Yield = 100% theory approx.

4-氯-2-硝基甲苯经铁粉还原，其还原方法与邻氯硝基苯相似。

每生产一吨4-氯-2-氨基甲苯，消耗1.27吨4-氯-2-硝基甲苯，收率95.3%，4-氯-2-氨基甲苯熔点21-22℃。

4-氯-2-氨基甲苯盐酸盐的制备工艺与间氯苯胺盐酸盐的制备相似。

600 kg 4-氯-2-氨基甲苯和2500 L 8% 盐酸溶液加热至70℃, 甲苯2小时使其溶解。然后加入470 kg 40% 盐酸，冷却到15-20℃，真空过滤出4-氯-2-氨基甲苯盐酸盐，而后用脱水机脱水以降低水分含量，最后在70-75℃干燥。收率接近100%。

氯代物在少量水中加热使成悬浮物；而后加入硫化碱，于105-108℃还原5小时，热过滤，在40℃以上静置5小时，取出上层油状物，水蒸汽蒸馏，并制成盐酸块。
