用途: 有机合成。颜料红115。     反应类别: 硝基还原。

反应式：本人有加注，暂未找到德文原件。（铁粉还原法已落后，仅供参考！）。

Procedure:

2,500 l. of water are run into (11) or (12), and warmed to 50℃.  1,260 kg. of p-nitrotoluene-2-sulphonic acid (100%) (≈400 Nitrite) are added followed by 305 kg. of soda ash (≈1 mol).  Congo red paper should show a faint blue.

The solution is run slowly into the reduction vessel (2) which there is a forecharge of 2,500 l. of water, 400 kg. of iron filings, 400 kg. of fine iron filings, and sufficient hydrochloric acid to promote the reaction (about 10 l.).  The reduction is continued at 90-95℃. by injecting live steam, reaction taking place immediately the nitro body reaches the reduction vessel.

When reduction is complete, soda ash is added to precipitate soluble iron, the iron sludge is filtered and the filtrate acidified.  The precipitated p-toluidine-2-sulphonic acid is filtered and washed with brine.   Yield : = 93-95%.

将2500 L水加热至50℃，加入1260 kg 100% 对硝基甲基-2-磺酸，相当于400 NaNO2，随后加入305 kg 碳酸钠，对刚果红试纸应呈微蓝色。

在还原锅中预先加入2500 L水，400 kg 铁屑，400 kg细铁粉和10 L盐酸，用直接蒸汽加热至90-95℃。然后将上述硝基物缓缓流入，还原反应立即开始。

还原完成后，加入碳酸钠使溶解的铁沉淀出来，过滤去铁泥。将滤液酸化，过滤沉淀的4-氨基甲苯-2-磺酸，用盐水洗涤。

收率93-95%。

学习与思考：

明知是“隔年皇历”的过时货，算是“滥竽充数”吧，至少有CAS号[118-88-7]，另外钠盐的CAS号[19024-68-1]的出现，说明另有别的用途。
