1.  Reduction vessel with stirrer.  Capacity 4 m3.   2-3.  Iron nutsches,  800 l.    4.  Montejus for filtrate,  6 m3.

5-6.  M.S. extraction vessel with gate stirrer,  12 m3.    7.  M.S. still with gate stirrer,  6 m3.

Procedure:

Vessel 1 contains a fore-charge of 1,800 l. of water, 70 kg. of hydrochloric acid (190Be’) and 280 kg. of milled iron borings.  To this is added over 12 hours at 25℃., 430 kg. of nitrosodiethylaniline hydrochloride (≈ 107 kg. Nitrite).  It is stirred for 2 hours, and then precipitated with 40 kg. of soda ash (reaction mixture must be strongly alkaline).  The iron sludge is filtered off and the clear solution run into 3,000 l. of benzene.  200 l. of 30% caustic liquor are added, the batch allowed to settle and the benzene layer transferred to 7.  The benzene is distilled off and then amine distilled under vacuum.

Yield:  85% of theory.

Into a mixture of 1800 l water.  70 kg ground iron charge in 12 hours, at 25℃.  430 kg Nitrosodiethylaniline hydrochloride (= 107 kg Nitrite)。 Stir for 2 hours and treat with 40 kg Soda (weak alkaline) – then filter.  The clear filtrate is blown into 3,000 liter benzene, add 200 lit. NaOH 30%.  After settling separate the layers, distill off the benzene and distill the diamine oil under vacuum.   Yield:  85% of theory.

在4000 L还原锅中先加入1800 L水，70 kg 30% 盐酸和280 kg铁屑，在25℃于12小时内加入430 kg亚硝基二乙基苯胺盐酸盐，相当于107 kg NaNO2 。搅拌2小时，然后用40 kg Na2CO3 将其沉淀，反应混合物应呈强碱性。过滤去铁泥，澄清溶液流入3000 L苯中，加入200 L 30% NaOH溶液，反应物静置，分离出苯层。将苯蒸馏出去，再减压蒸馏对氨基二乙基苯胺。收率85%。

还原：在釜中加入150公斤水及11公斤盐酸。搅拌，加入41公斤铁粉，降温至15℃，在20-25℃加硝基物。加毕，补加铁粉5公斤，在20-25℃搅拌3小时。加入碳酸钠7公斤，搅拌15分钟，过滤。滤饼以热水洗涤，滤液和洗液中加入50公斤液碱（30%），15公斤食盐，静置分层。上层物料入蒸馏釜，于120-150℃及真空度为60毫米汞柱减压蒸馏收集馏份，得对-氨基-N,N-二乙基苯胺。

美国人的译文与英国人的译文有点差别，这是正常的，允许人家有错，所以看原文好。国内出版物的问题昨天写了，到此为止。
